Qianmen Hutong

Been back in Hong Kong a few days and being in the vicinity and places my gran was brings about more empty thoughts and feelings. Also being around the family, most of whom are affected by her passing, makes a difference. Although I am not upset, I am filled with an absence of desire to take any photographs. I did though, try the local processing places and got a roll done which i shot about a week ago around Qianmen, Beijing, when i did want to shoot. The light in Beijing is beautiful. Perhaps it's the pollution but the sunlight is a light amber throughout the day.

Shot on basic Kodak 200 film. Canon EOS 1n, 17- 35mm Sigma HSM.
